Today everything doesn’t need to make sense… it’s okay for me to be afraid as long I am willing to face these fears rather than run from them. For years I have been standing still, afraid to move forward in fear of losing everything and everyone that I’ve ever loved.
It’s an awkward realization knowing that my life could be defined by three words, two positions.. fight or flight.
From the first day we breathe to the day our heart stops, each day we live just another day bought. While high up above the sky seems so far, when the rain starts to fall it begins cleansing old scars. The life which you’ve lost won’t rest all alone; their memory lives deep down in your soul. Remember the tears you cried by their side, remember their smile and the arms you confide. Remember the past for it’s written in stone, prepare for a future
